Dear All American High School Basketball Fans, For the past 30 years, the best-of-the-best of high school basketball players have come together for a showcase of exceptional talent and charity at the McDonald's® All American High School Basketball Games. The 2008 McDonald's All American Games will be played on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The games will be nationally televised on ESPN. In addition to the Games, the McDonald's All Americans will participate in a separate POWERade JamFest. The event is held on Monday, March 24, and features the ESPN nationally televised slam dunk, three-point and team ball contests. A special All American Awards Banquet and Silent Auction is also scheduled to honor the players, their families and the longstanding tradition of the Games. The Banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 25, and will take the place of the annual Ronald McDonald House Gala Benefit, typically held in the fall. Each year, proceeds from the All American Games benefit the local chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities. This year, the net proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc. More than $4.5 million has been raised for various charities since the game was first played in 1978.
